This log home was handcrafted with full round white pine logs ranging
from 11"-20" in
diameter. It is a sun lovers home with a moderate prow front of mostly
windows with a southern exposure that reduces heating costs. There is a combined
living area with a
soaring ceiling with ridgepole, log purlins and a log truss accenting
the open loft with
handcrafted railings. A unique stone wall graces a Waterford
"Trinity" parlour stove, which is very efficient and clean burning. This great room blends together nicely with natural birch hardwood flooring. The open concept
kitchen has ample countertops and birch cabinets;
accenting two stained glass panels and a built-in dishwasher. There are
original stained glass light fixtures throughout and also a central-vac. This home is
also for horse-lovers; with a log style barn, paddock, pastures and outdoor ring started.
The house is nestled on a hilltop with an explosive view of the
surrounding area which
stretches across the Bay of Fundy to the shore of Nova Scotia. It is
extremely private, yet
adjacent to two of the most popular tourism sites in N.B.; St.Martins
and The Fundy Trail Parkway. The Bay of Fundy is considered to be
one of the natural wonders of the world due to the highest tides in the world. St.Martin's
is a small village hosting the "Sea Caves", covered bridges and
miles of serene beaches. |
